Joe Biden: A Life of Trial and Redemption brings you a journalistic account of Joe Biden’s rise to the second highest position in the land. Jules Witcover includes exclusive interviews with Biden’s friends, family members and President Obama. Witcover is no stranger to political meanderings, as his resume includes books about Robert Kennedy, as well as Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew. Jules is a man after our own heart — always rooting for the underdog!

Also, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Dan Coen’s book on all the past VEEPs…
SECOND STRING: Trivia, Facts and Lists About The Vice Presidency.
You can order it or read some chapters from the right-hand menu at http://www.vicepresidents.com
Has anyone read “Angler: The Dick Cheney Vice Presidency”…?
Aren’t there just a few real good books on VEEP out there? I actually thought Dan Quayle auto biography was well done at the time. It opened up his 1996 bid for the Presidency that didn’t go anywhere.
Jules Witcover has covered politics alot, I thought he also wrote a book on Ford, who, like Biden, serves a-long time in Congress and finally made it to the executive brand.
