Gore & Kerry Fundraise in Nantucket

“The American experiment is in jeopardy, truly,” Gore said at a Nantucket Fundraiser for Obama hosted by investment banker Lou Susman. “John [Kerry] and I will tell you there were interesting races four years ago and eight years ago, but in many ways this is one of the most interesting races in all of American history. We have a chance to lift our country to a new way of thinking. This can be a transformative election, but make no mistake. It’s close. Closer than it should be.”

Gore Rumored on the Shortlist for 2008 DNC!

Al Gore is rumored to be on the shortlist to speak at the Democratic National Convention! "A lot of us still feel he was cheated in 2000," explains Iowa Senator Tom Harkin said. "If he'd been president, we wouldn't have had these messes the past eight years." He adds that he's been embraced by the party as a moral crusader of the environment and that a lot of people would like the opportunity to hear him speak.

Gore Calls For Lofty Goal

Gore told AP we could switch every kilowatt of energy used in the United States to all wind, sun, water and globe-friendly resources... within 10 years, with a price tag of $3 Trillion. He adds that it will "pay itself back many times over" and that he sees an "emerging opportunity like never before."

Is Al Exploiting His Inconvenient Truth?

You've heard the rumor before: Al Gore's house sucks up more power in one month than the average American uses all year long! This is nothing new. You probably also read that Gore took these criticisms to heart and set out to make his house "Green." End of story.

Al Gore In The News

Gore News: On May 31st, "The Honorable Al Gore" will be the key speaker at a fundraising event for the Democratic National Committee, which is an encouraging sign that the party is beginning to come together and get their finances in order prior to the general election. Word on the street is that the RNC is out-fundraising Dems so far. If you have $28,500 laying around, you might be able to attend.
