The Choice For VEEP Is About Ticket Brand

The race for Vice President is all about "Ticket Brand". What's "Ticket Brand"?  It is the POP and SIZZLE of selecting a Vice Presidential nominee that turns a regular campaign into a Rock Star Tour.

What John McCain, Hillary Clinton and/or Barack Obama need to do is choose a running-mate that helps them to build a brand and captivate the electorate.

In 1992, Bill Clinton choose Al Gore, not to balance a section of the country or ideology.  He picked Al Gore to generate a brand enthusiasm for Democrats, Independents and Cross-Over Republicans.  Gore was Clinton:  Young, Southernor, Great Family, Moderate.  No ticket-balancing needed. It presented hope and opportunity, and that was needed more.  Clinton and Gore were the cool one's in 1992.

John McCain need to find a candidate who can complement him-somebody with executive leadership; out of Washington; and can reach the heart of the GOP.  For Barack Obama, he needs to choose himself.  A young, attractive, articulate newcomer with a young and dynamic family.  For Hillary Clinton, well, she needs to choose somebody who can get along with herself and Bill and become the third wheel.  Not too exciting. Buy one, get three.

Could be difficult to find.  More on that later.

Still some time to sort this all out....
