You're stuck in traffic and have to go to the loo. What do you do?
Thanks to Japan's Kaneko Sangyo Company, you simply sit in the back seat. The manufacturer of plastic car accessories unveiled it's new portable, car toilet today. Small enough to fit inside a suitcase and equipped with a curtain for privacy and a plastic bag to collect waste, the new car toilet was actually designed with larger disasters in mind.
According to Kyodo News, a company official explained: "The commode will come in handy during major disasters such as earthquakes or when you are caught in a traffic jam."
It makes sense then that a Japanese company was the first to jump on the transportable toilet train. Japan, located in the Pacific "Ring of Fire," experiences approximately 20 percent of the world's earthquakes with a magnitude of 6 or greater.
If you're hankering for one of these portable potties, however, you'll have to -- ehmmm... hold it for a while. The firm won't begin selling the new product online until November 15.
