John Edwards' Stylist Feels Hurt

Where does John Edwards get his ‘do done for up to $1,250? Why by Joseph Torrenueva, hair stylist extraordinaire. Torrenueva, a Beverly Hills Stylist who began his beautifying career four decades ago, achieved recognition with the Breck girls and went on to shear the locks of such celebrities as Brando and Bob Barker.

The haute hair artiste – a Democrat – used to trim Edwards’ hair for free. Now, however, he charges up to $500 per cut because he often has to travel and miss other work to meet up with the Presidential candidate. Torrenueva says that one haircut in 2004 cost Edwards $1,250 because the stylist had to fly to Atlanta and missed two days of work.

In an interview, Torrenueva said of Edwards, “He has nice hair. "I try to make the man handsome, strong, more mature and these are the things, as an expert, that's what we do." But, like any artist, Torrenueva has a sensitive side and when Edwards defended his haircut expenses and blamed it on his staff who hired “that guy” without him knowing the full expense,

Torrenueva was left feeling hurt and betrayed. He admitted, "When he called me 'that guy,' that hit my ears. It hurt." Hey, Torrenueva! Maybe, like the rest of the American public, you should start focusing on Hillary and Obama and forget about Edwards.
